Handcrafted Fine Jewellery

Rosie Lanyon is a silversmith based in South Oxfordshire in the leafy village of Brightwell. From sparkles to sea glass, Rosie makes a range of jewellery including earrings, bracelets, necklaces and rings. She also makes little trinket boxes as they are such good fun to make. Rosie enjoys searching for sea glass and then setting the best pieces in silver, sometimes with a touch of gold. She is also interested in making kinetic jewellery (jewellery which moves and that you can fiddle with).
Rosie began as a self-taught jeweller and then completed the Silver Diploma from the Jeweller’s Academy in 2024. She keeps a close eye the environmental impact on her work and chooses to use only recycled silver and gold as well as recycling her own silver in her studio. She also works in silver clay to make embellishments for her pieces; shells to snails to snowflakes and stars. This clever material is also made from recycled materials.
Rosie finds inspiration in the natural world around her and often dreams up ideas when out walking her dog. She adds a whimsical element to her wearable jewellery which can be seen in her work. This year she is branching out ot teach some silver-clay courses and is also open to taking commissions.
