PotterB – Bridget Thompson

Hand thrown, beautiful pottery with a gardener’s influence.

My pottery consists of hand thrown stoneware mugs, jugs, bowls, vases and platters with beautiful flower designs all influenced by my love of gardening, in Goring on Thames.  I have recently added a fun plain colour way series to my collection.
It all started with a lovely 21st birthday present – a one year pottery course at Sunningwell School of Art. Since then wherever my career has taken me I have continued to spend an evening a week on a pottery course.
Moving to Goring over 20 years ago I made the decision to make more and refine my skills.  My studio at the bottom of my garden gives me the time and space to be creative and enjoy my passion as a ceramic artist. I enjoy experimenting with glaze colours and a range of shapes and sizes.

I sell my work from my home in Goring and at local craft fairs.
